Honey whipped feta with cream cheese, garlic, olives, shallot, and herbs. Seriously, what’s not to love? This fabulous appetizer comes together quickly, looks beautiful and tastes amazing!
I originally came across Tieghan Gerard’s Honey Whipped Feta idea on #HalfBakedHarvest. The first time I made it, I followed Tieghan’s recipe exactly. It was fantastic. I played with the recipe a little in future preparations and have modified the ingredients slightly. Just a few tweaks: Fewer olives. For the purposes of both flavor and presentation, I prefer more cheese mixture to olive mixture so I cut the amount of olives in half. I also sliced the olives in half because the whole olives were a bit awkward for serving. I ratcheted up the extra virgin olive oil and cream cheese (slightly) and went with a bit less garlic and lemon. With these ingredients, you honestly can’t go wrong, so adjust to suit your preference.
